Why is it relevant to a child's social development to attend preschool?

I believe it is relevant to a child’s social development to attend preschool because at this time students learn how to act and how to behave in a classroom environment, also to develop more responsibility and knowledge in school. I think that preschool attendance should be required, because by children having this experience; parents help both, students and kindergarten teachers, to have knowledge and experience in a school environment.
